There is Hope


there is hope.....
of course, there is..
there is always hope, deep within our shuttered hearts
tightly closed against the fear of what may be.
but there is hope deep within,
all it takes is one act, one word, one vision
to free that fragile bit of nothingness,
to set it free out in the brilliant light of day,
so that it might yet breathe and be renewed.
there is hope, oh, yes, there is hope.
It may be only a tiny sliver,
a mere fragment of what was once so huge
and dwarfed the heavens,
but with time and nurturing,
it will grow, for there is hope,
Yes, there is...
Hope.
