Some of the families at AS used to hold elections of a sort Figgy, but it was annual.
That may be one way to handle things, but one always has to be on the look out for powerplays and takeover bids which may result in a Novel going in a direction that was never intended. There are two ways to look at this, *S* One, if it keeps the Novel active, who cares, and the second is less positive, *grin* Although the people who pay for and apply for the Novel have no ownership over it as such, to have them run out of it when they would be still interested in participating does not sit quite right with most people.
Part of the problem is the perception that a MoBster is in a position of power. That is not the case, they are supposed to facilitate. To make their Novel a happy place for others to come and write. They may offer guidance and direction, but essentially the members of each Novel are the "owners" of it, not the MoBsters. Not everyone remembers this fact, and that is where one runs into trouble.
