Another great year for a fun holiday event
Trick or Treating!
Here's how you can show off your home
and Celebrate the Season!
There are two ways to participate –
be a Home, where people can visit and trick or treat,
and be a Trick or Treater!
To be a Home, Sign up now through Sunday, October 23rd,
by posting in this thread that you want to participate.
Then, create a graphic (or two) that you will hand out
to everyone who comes trick or treating.
It can be either a treat or a trick!
Then, from Monday, October 24rd through Halloween,
(no earlybirds!!)
Anyone who would like to be a Trick or Treater
can visit all the homes listed in our Pan neighborhood
and leave a message saying, "Trick or Treat!"
(You don't need to sign up! Just do it!)
The Home owners should reply to the message,
leaving either their Treat or their Trick!
Hints!
Homes ~ you only need to make one graphic (or two, if you want) to hand out to all the trick or treaters. By saving the code in a word processing program, you can avoid having to retype the code every time.
Trick or Treaters ~ You can use different characters to visit homes, but since Homes will most likely only use one graphic, there's no sense in visiting each home more than once. Also, make your own posts fun! Ask in a fun way, or dress up avatar since it will appear in your message, or make a graphic of your own. And don't forget to say Thank You!
