“Choppin' wood up with our newly made stone age tools had warmed us all up a bit. But it was snowing harder and getting colder outside. So all us Blessed girls, except Paula who was busy with Nee, gathered up as much of the cut wood from Anias' avalanche and hurried back inside the cave.” Nyan shrugged. “Not that we knew what Anias was up to yet. He'd asked us to gather cut wood so we did whenever it fit into our games.”

“So leaving Anias buried under the piles of new wood bits us girls went back to our current games again.” Nyan giggled. “Except Paula. We all laughed and clapped hearing her still off playing her own games as we scampered with our latest additions deeper into the caves. Being Blessed girls just turning our trips and falls over stuff in the darkness into tumbles and such. It sure would have helped if Anias was faster in inventing fire. Since the phosphorescent moss didn't exactly light the place up that brightly.”

“Still, we all found our way back to the big cavern we'd picked for one of our favorite games!” Bouncing up 'n' down Nyan clapped merrily. “Even back in our prehistoric times the Blessed loved to play Screw With Future Archeologists whenever we got the chance.” Even Babs joined in the laughter with a sad little chuckle. “After Kiki had found the perfect place to put that old Walkman the battery that was dead in among the fish bones, bits of gnawed-on gingerbread, and spinach leaves we'd all made some crude stone-age tools to add in.” Nyan's face scrunched up. There'd been a lot of spinach offered by all the girls. “After making the tools we'd all gone out to maniacally use them to add just the right amount of wear for authenticity.” She looked proudly defiant. “Blessed girls are always artists when playing Screw With Future Archeologists.”

“Do they ever get tired?” Babs rolled her eyes as some louder moans came from behind the curtain where Paula and Nee where recreating their parts. You know, just to be thorough and all. Babs called back their way. “You two should get a room!” Was answered with laughter and then more moans that somehow had crazy cave echoes to them.

Nyan giggled. “Yeah, you'd think that they would have noticed the echoes bouncing out of the small cave Nee and Paula had found to play Bumpin' Uglies in.” They all shrugged, then Nyan grinned and went back to Ye Olde Tale. “So once we finished with our latest additions to the future archeological eating circle we'd made the rest of us girls went back to our wall paintings.” Nyan frowned. “Which it would have been easier to get the scenes of ancient hunters intermixed with the occasional UFO, crop circle, and bazookas right if we had better light than the crappy bits of glowing moss provided.”

“Yeah, mom even went back to kick Anias in the butt once in a while trying to make him hurry up.” Babs sighed depressingly. “That and the occasional funny sound from Nee and Paula making us all laugh and squiggle up our drawings.”

“Yeah! But that did turn out to add some nice bits of ancient looking realism to our pictures.” Nyan smiled shyly with a touch of rosiness to her cheeks. “Which when Paula and Nee finally finished would become so much clearer in the resulting better light.” She and the others after sharing grins at the naughtiness brightened up. “Of course more of us might have survived if our paintings hadn't been so enthralling!”
