The chant is even louder and I realize that the crowd is huge, that it's spilling out into the street. It makes the decision for me.
I can do this
I pick up the last remnants of the burger and devour them, chewing and knowing that I am really going to regret it later but for now, I've done it. I've completed the challenge.
I swallow the last piece and raise my arms high in the air as a huge cheer goes up and Bert grins, holds up the sought after T-shirt.
I accept the token, hold it high in the air and pose for the picture, relishing the moment as he transfers it onto the board.
The cheers are still resounding in my ears as I stagger outside to where Chewbacca is waiting. He doesn't say a lot, but he knows what I need.
