 A tasty bit of bait.

Sarah walked down to the pond. She had fished a few times as a child with her father and brother and thought it would be exciting to try again. After all she had been told this was no ordinary pond.

She sat down and made sure her wide-brimmed straw bonnet would keep the sone from making her face freckle. Then she set about baiting her hook.

Instead of using a disgusting worm,she opted for more enticing bait:a nice fresh crumpet spread with fresh butter and strawberry jam. Se tossed in her line and waited.
