 Keeping it under wraps

I love parades! At least good ones. The weather was perfect for shorts and tee, and I was bouncing back and forth with William holding my hand trying to keep me still.

Hopping up and down, I said, "lemme go! Everyone's taller than me, I HAVE to jump to see!"

"Every time you jump up, your tee ends up halfway up your body when you come down," he said disapprovingly.

"I thought you liked that!" I said, hopping again, and seeing a really cool looking gargoyle led by some hot chick, and then Quester's float.

"Yeah, I like that, my little runt, but I'm not willing to share," he said with a grin.

"Fine!" I said gaily. "I'll run along with the floats instead. Bet you can't catch me, Slacker!" With that I tugged my hand free of his and pushed my way through the throng, and began to run along the floats as they went by. "Weeee!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. "You guys are all great!"
