Author: Quester  Date:   10-25-06 00:11 Announcing the 6th Annual Pan Historia Halloween Home Decorating Contest! Starting from now until Oct 28th (for entries) we will be running a Halloween Home and Dust Jacket Contest. Decorate your home or novel/reference book for the holiday season and enter our contest. The winners will be announced on October 31st, Halloween, and we will be offering prizes and badges for our winners: First for Home: Be Featured Character for the Month of November on the Dailies First for Dust Jacket: An Ad on the Dailies for the Month of November (where the pumpkin is now) All other Places to Receive Beautiful Plaques Guidelines: Your home or dust jacket must be decorated for the season. That means it should be a Halloween or Day of the Dead theme. It should be more than just a collection of images. Think about the whole design from the background to the fonts. Include interesting seasonal text that is appropriate to your design. Your character doesn't have to be specially created for the season but if you want to have a Ghost or Vampire that's fine. If you do decorate the home of your favorite character think about what would be particularly appropriate to that character for their Halloween home. Be creative and be original - the judges will be looking for the unusual. Also be sure to keep your home decorated for the entire holiday period until at least Nov 3 so our judges and membership can view every single design. Post the url for your home or dust jacket on this topic to be included in the contest. Staff entries will be judged separately and will receive a plaque for the best entry.
